This complex is owned and managed by Union County Housing Authority. There are 30 one bedroom rental units at this site. Each unit consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. To qualify for this site an individual must be 62, handicapped or disabled. Rental Assistance is provided through Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Rents are based on 30% of adjusted income. Income limits do apply.

What are the typical features of an apartment?
Each apartment features wall-to-wall carpeting in the living and bedroom. The kitchen includes a refrigerator and electric range. There is excellent storage and closet space.
What are the complex features?
There are two apartment buildings, each with its own coin-operated laundry. Additionally, there is an on-site office and one community room that is available for tenant use. Safety features include an emergency pull cord in each apartment and a 24 hour answering service and paging system to contact management and maintenance.
How do I qualify?

What will my rent be and are there any other costs?
Rent is based on 30% of adjusted monthly income which includes deductions for allowable medical expenses plus an elderly household allowance. Tenant pays telephone expense only. All other utilities are included in rental costs, including cable television and electric.
